About Hopewell Basketball
When talking about the Alton brothers, the term all in the family comes to mind, with the subject of basketball being the topic.
In 2004 Will Alton was a freshman at the Hopewell Central High Schools and picked the number 24 as his basketball jersey for
the 4 years. 3 of the years was as a varsity player. In 2007 Max Alton picked the number 24 as his varsity jersey for 3 years. And now younger brother True has been wearing the number 24
for 2 year as a varsity player. The funny thing was it was all the same uniforms for all 3 brothers. And this
year, HBA purchased new home and away uniforms for the boy’s high school team using the HBA grant money. ( More below)
A lot of people think HBA is just about Winter, Spring Hoops and Summer Camps. But over the years HBA has been a major contributor to the Hopewell Central High School basketball Programs. HBA has purchase a continuing subscription to Hudle which is an online
video analysis tool with coaching notes and advanced statistics for coaches and athletes to review from any computer or mobile
device. A few years back HBA purchased “The Gun” which a shooting machine that can dramatically change a basketball player shots for the better. for
HBA the early years. Watch HBA play the Philly Eagles.
